TESTIMONIALS

  • Wyatt, alcohol art, portrait of a horse! This piece evokes the loving and attentive nature of the horse. The style of art is so powerful and colorful that it brings a level of intensity to the portrait. When interacting with the portrait nostalgia is the main emotion we have now that the horses have been rehomed. Best decision ever to have this piece of art as it is more powerful than a photo! Lesa captured the soul and being of the horse in her work.

  • Lesa is a very gifted and creative artist, and her art allows us to see the world through her eyes. We purchased a floral painting called An Essence of Spring, . It is even more beautiful in person, and it hangs in our kitchen so that we can enjoy it everyday. I love her vibrant use of color and the fact that she can't be categorized into one specific type of painting. She excels in whatever medium she decides to employ. We are so happy we discovered Lesa's amazing artwork and can't wait to see what she creates next! Thank you, Lesa! .

  • I am happy! It's beautiful and everyone I show it to absolutely loves it, especially the colors. I guess that's what drew me to it. I also didn't know that Beyond the Bloom was part of a collection! I can't wait to see your new collection!

For every brush stroke, a new discovery emerges. Start with a shape and add some color, then try blending with other colors and see how the greens and pinks merge beautifully. That’s how it began for me and its language is ongoing.

My work is constantly evolving to express the language of beautiful existence through color and form. As a multidisciplinary artist working with oils, acrylics, and alcohol inks, I view my art as a form of experimentation and exploration, much like a scientific inquiry.

With a foundation in figurative drawing, I have developed a style that merges realistic figures with abstract and surreal elements. This approach allows viewers to connect with my work in multiple ways, highlighting how each piece, while unique, reflects common human experiences and emotions.

Four magazine pages showcasing various art features, including a cover story on women artists, a list of featured artists, award winners, and a special issue on women artists.
An artist painting a large portrait on an easel in an art studio. The artist has curly hair and is wearing a white shirt. The studio has various paintings on the walls and art supplies on a table nearby.

Born in Dallas, Texas, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas in Denton. With years of experience exhibiting my artwork in group and solo shows, I currently work as a high school art teacher, sharing my passion for creativity.

My work has been displayed both locally and internationally, receiving recognition in various U.S. and international juried competitions. Additionally, my art has been featured in publications such as Opulent Art Global Magazine, Inside the Artist’s Mind, Issue # 19, Arts to Hearts 101 Nature Edition, Arts to Hearts Magazine Issue # 9, Artist Closeup, and The Visual Arts Journal March Edition # 29.
