Bare to Pause‍ ‍was a turning point for me. Pulling back the palette and focusing on a tranquil, reflective moment shifted something in my work. The water here is clear and still, almost cool to the eye - the kind of surface that makes you anticipate what it would feel like to touch it. I wanted the legs to merge with the plants because that blending felt like a return to something steady. This piece is about stepping out of the noise and into a moment where everything slows down just enough for you to feel yourself again.
