Eyes of a New Frontier holds a gaze that reaches past the moment — quiet, steady, almost visionary. The pastel tones pressed against the fluorescent hues create a charged calm, a contrast I used to open the space around her and give the piece its slightly surreal, almost cosmic drift. I wanted to create a sense of the atmosphere widening, like the world is stretching just beyond what she’s known. Light and shadow shift across her face in soft, evolving tones, suggesting an inner awakening, a horizon beginning to expand. She feels grounded, yet tuned to something just starting to rise.
